The Metropolitan Police is investigating an incident in East Ferry Road E14 last night where a man was stabbed to death.
Police were called at around 8.30pm following reports of a group of males fighting in the street.
On arrival they found a man in his 30s suffering from severe stab wounds and administered CPR until the arrival of London Ambulance Service paramedics.
The man was later pronounced dead at the scene. He remains unidentified.
