The worst monsoon flooding in decades has isolated millions of people across Bangladesh with Sylhet being one of the worst hit areas.
According the two hardest-hit subdistricts of Sylhet are Companyganj and Gowainghat.
Lalmonirhat, Kurigram, Nilphamari and Rangpur districts in northern Bangladesh have also been badly hit.
Millions have been left stranded across India and Bangladesh and at least 60 people have died.

There are 130 rivers in Bangladesh and the major rivers in Sylhet and Sunamgani districts have swollen to dangerously high levels.

Flooding has caused power outages across the entire northeast of Bangladesh making it almost impossible to get up to date information out to the world and hampering relief efforts.
This disaster has come only a month an after unprecedented pre-monsoon flood hit northeastern India and Bangladesh causing 70% of Sylhet to be under water.
The army has been deployed to help with rescue efforts but flights at Osmani International Airport in Sylhet were suspended for three days further hampering relief work.
